The Inner Katy BRT project explored the design of four modular transit stations along a five-mile corridor, responding to varying urban conditions, mobility patterns, and right-of-way constraints. The stations were conceived as flexible, low-impact typologies that could adapt to diverse contexts while establishing a cohesive identity for the corridor.
As Designer, I led the conceptual development of station form, material strategy, and spatial organization, ensuring accessibility, visibility, and rider comfort. The design integrates shade, clear wayfinding, lighting, and durable materials to enhance the pedestrian experience and support multimodal connectivity. I developed physical models and visualizations to communicate the station concept and its adaptability across different sites along the corridor.
