The Katy East Mobility Study evaluated land use, transportation networks, and multimodal connectivity across a rapidly developing area to identify opportunities for improved pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular circulation. The study examined existing conditions, including mobility patterns, street typologies, and neighborhood character, to inform corridor and intersection-level interventions that enhance safety and access.
As Urban Designer, I conducted site and network analysis and supported public and stakeholder workshops to gather input on community priorities. I developed visual materials, diagrams, and interactive engagement tools to translate technical findings into accessible narratives for participants. Community feedback directly informed a set of design and policy recommendations aimed at improving multimodal safety, connectivity, and overall public realm quality across the study area.
